Early Learning Indiana is Powered by Partnerships.

IMG_7232As a nonprofit organization, we exist thanks to the investments and support of our partners.

We offer multiple routes to partnership.

Our Day Early Learning Centers serve over 1,300 families a year across 11 different Indianapolis and Central Indiana locations and welcome partnerships that improve their quality, support families and help them to expand. Child Care Answers, a team of early childhood experts that work to improve programs, support professionals and engage families in Central Indiana, welcomes partnerships around the education, training, coaching and outreach programs that they implement.

We have recently launched two new innovative partnership efforts.

With the generous support of Lilly Endowment, Inc., our Partnerships for Early Learners campaign expands access and improves the quality of early childhood education all across Indiana. Learn more about this campaign.

Our Early Head Start-Child Care Network continues our long-standing commitment to improve services and supports for our youngest children and their families during their most formative years—birth to age three. Learn more about this federal-state-local initiative and our three outstanding child care partners.

Our Partners

We work with over 50 partners, and the list is growing every day. Learn more about some of our most important partnerships.

FSSAIndiana’s Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning – The Office provides assistance in a variety of ways, from licensing child care providers for safety, health, and quality, to investing in outreach and education through Child Care Answers and other similar agencies across the state.

UWCIUnited Way of Central Indiana – No institution has done more to support early childhood in Central Indiana than the United Way. As a United Way agency, we receive program support, and United Way volunteers are never more than a phone call away. Their support has also given Child Care Answers invaluable opportunities to expand.

iu-healthIU Health – For over a decade, we have partnered with IU Health to provide early childhood care and education to hundreds of IU Health employees. More recently, we have partnered to bring healthy food to our families and expand into pre-K.

Phalen Leadership Academy – Pre-K should be available to all Indiana children. With classrooms made available to us by this local charter school, it is a reality for 40 more children a year. Learn more about this partnership.

Smiling-G-colorGoodwill Industries of Central Indiana – Through their Nurse-Family Partnership program, Goodwill prepares hundreds of expecting and new, at-risk mothers for the challenges of parenthood. We are honored to employ some of these new mothers, offering them income and training while providing care for their children in our centers.

The Junior League of Indianapolis boosts its financial support with an amazing volunteer team.

AmeriCorps INServe Indiana – We are partnering with the state’s AmeriCorps agency to harness the power of national service to engage families of preschool and pre-K children in Evansville, Indianapolis and Ft. Wayne. Our 14 Corps members are serving in high-quality programs to help children and their families prepare for Kindergarten.

We are also grateful for our other partnerships with the following organizations: Arts for Learning, the Central Indiana Community Foundation, the Fairbanks Foundation, the federal General Services Administration, Indiana’s Government Center, Indiana’s Department of Education, the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children, the Indiana Association for Child Care Resource and Referral, IU Health West Hospital, Ivy Tech community college, PNC Bank, and many others.
